We are looking to extend our team and welcome a new member as a Social Media Manager. You will be responsible for creating and scheduling social content that reflects Black Rhino Radio’s values and aesthetics. The Social Media Manager plays an important role in developing and amplifying the Black Rhino Radio community across all platforms.

After a while of silence regarding sound system culture events and parties, Romania steps out with a festival dedicated to this music - DubCamp festival 24-26 of June. We had our moments. The sound system on the streets of Bucharest during Street Delivery at the beginning of 2010, One Love Festival, Subsonic Festival, Reggae Pon di Hills, and some other small gatherings pinpointed the first local steps in the sound system culture.

The notorious global fusion electronica anarchy London-based collective, Transglobal Underground, have teamed up with Transylvania’s Lil Obeah of the Sound of Art to Come label. Sometimes written as Trans-Global Underground or simply as TGU, the music collective is specialized in a fusion of western, Asian and African music styles.

After his debut single on the CXC release series in 2019, Romania-based DJ/Producer Brusten returns to Counterpoint Recordings, now with a 4-track EP for the main label. He invites fellow countryman Freqax and Mighty Boogie for 2 stunning collabs, and German MC Resc returns to drop his powerful vocals on ‘Res0nate’.

A day before its official release, Black Rhino Music is happy to be hosting an exclusive stream for Stefan Bachvarov’s return to Bulgarian label Amek Collective as Cyberian. His new full-length “Dark Orphism” releases tomorrow on vinyl limited to 222 copies and digital.

This is the premiere of a new Peter Harris and Lee 'Scratch' Perry tune, Nothing is really something. This is a collaboration of the Jamaican legend with musician, concept artist and performer Peter Harris. The song also features mixing and drumming by Fritz Catlin of avant-funk, post-punk, experimental band 23 Skidoo.

World exclusive release of the Nohumaneye vs. Mark Stewart track Deep Time Dub (Mark Stewart Remix) as featured on the digital download compilation album called “Our Music: The Scene Without A Name” on Friday 4th December.  The album will also be released on a limited edition 7” acetate, limited to 50 and sold through Discogs.

Flexing their studio muscle with a whole host of new music, Submotion Orchestra are set to provide another production masterclass with their next single. Blend’ follows on from their cover of Robin S’ classic Show Me Love and reignites their summer plans after rescheduling a single and tour due to COVID-19.

D-Operation Drop makes its second appearance on Green King Cuts for the label's 21st release. Released in a limited number of 100 copies, on a 7 inch, Kuna + Dub version was released today but will start to ship in 2/3 weeks. Same as with the rest of the series, there is no digital available and there will be no represses.

There is no wonder that the LA music scene delivers constantly new music and artists. One of the latest names to be followed are the Automatic trio Izzy Glaudini (synths, vocals), Lola Dompé (drums, vocals) and Halle Saxon (bass, vocals). With a bold attitude, their music can easily be labeled as post punk.
