With an arsenal of bass heavy dubs ranging from roots to steppas, dancehall to dub reggae, expect an education in the elements of a sound that has inspired a movement from world famous Glaswegian selectors Mungo’s Hi-Fi. Mungo’s Hi-Fi have garnered a level of respect within the reggae community that has allowed them to work with various heavy-weights such as Solo Banton, Sugar Minott and Ranking Joe, to name a few.

Low Freq:

Based in Bucharest, Low Freq is active on the music scene for over 15 years. Music producer, DJ and promoter, Low Freq combines elements of bass music with strong industrial synths, continuously searching to explore the sound. Along the years Low Freq played in groups such as Blanoz and Shadowbox and since 2014 he started the band Dream Diggers. Alongside Dani, Low Freq is also operator for Irie Warriors Sound System. 2017 is the year Low Freq formed Black Rhino Music, a group of musicians, promoters and visual artists, dedicated to promoting the culture behind the sound.

Phlo da Shaolin:

Dj, producer and live performer. A truly notorious name in his many years in the industry as a beatbox pioneer back the early 2000s, rocked the crowds alongside major names in both Romanian and international hip hop or electronic music scenes. In the later years, he established his work in the sound system culture area, exploring new territories with drum and bass producers and DJs. Phlo also goes into downtempo/cinematic dubbing alongside Costa Del Dub, but never leaves behind the classic reggae and dub influences. From the knobs to the mic and back, but always in the speakers.

Ciupe:

Ciupe is one half of the dub duo Serious Dub. With a strong approach to sound system music, Ciupe blends in his mixes different style of dub. From low tempo dubs to powerful steppa riddims, he is a true promoter of bass music.
