Dengue Dengue Dengue
“Dengue, is the little bug that gives you the itch to go party,” explains Felipe Salmon, member of the tropical bass duo Dengue, Dengue, Dengue. Of course this is an accurate name for the infectious sound that they create. Felipe and his musical partner Rafael Pereira blend traditional cumbia, psychedelic beats, Amazonian rhythms generating a literal storm on the dance floor.
Since the release of their debut album “La Alianza Profana,” Dengue, Dengue, Dengue has toured all over the world, ambassadors of the digital cumbia sound spreading it from China to Norway. On the 8th of April they land for the first time in Bucharest.
Dragoș Rusu
Dragoș Rusu has been a constant presence in Bucharest’s underground music scene. A DJ, journalist studying anthropology and a music adventurer, he is the co-founder and editor in chief of The Attic Magazine, an online music platform that covers a wide variety of music and investigates cultures from all over the world. His musical approach knows no boundaries of genre, style, time or space—he’s been spotted playing hard, textural techno and acid house as well as intriguing outernational oddities.
Andreea Veder
Making a name for herself mostly by the energy she brings to the dancefloor, Andreea loves creating eclectic stories that get people fired up. Expect powerful drums, tribal accents, and intense beats that get your soul moving.
