Black Rhino Residency X Rapture Records is bringing the bass back to Control Club this Saturday, with a stellar line-up of jungle royalty : legends The Untouchables & Djinn, with romanian support from Maica-ta, hosted by the one and only MC Chikaboo.

It's a night of classic drum'n'bass, filled with high levels of energy that will leave you with great memories and maybe even some sore muscles from all that dancing.

DJINN (Rupture, Formless, Foundation X):

Dropping sets at illegal raves and club nights since the age of 17, Djinn’s evolving style spans a 16 year journey in breakbeats; first crossing to 2000 dnb before reverting to 90’s jungle & oldskool hardcore, later transitioning early dubstep years to a mixture aggressive & sparse 140, before reaching a current-day heavyweight precision of brooding minimal drum & bass, deep rolling beats & dark menacing amenism.

THE UNTOUCHABLES (Rupture, Samurai, Black Rhino):

Behind the decks, The Untouchables are a force to be reckoned with. They always deliver a heavyweight selection of sounds that come from the deeper side of the bass universe. Currently, they are hosting a show on Black Rhino Radio, featuring fresh music from their studio & producers they like, as well as guest appearances from their favourite roster of artists.

Chickaboo exploded into the breakbeat scene and before long was working with top producers and DJs alike including Timo Maas, Rennie Pilgrem and Superstyle Deluxe, among others. She is the frontwoman for Rennie Pilgrem's band TCR Allstars who have performed at a number of festivals and clubs including Glade, Glastonbury and Fabric. It was with Rennie Pilgrem and BLIM she won "best song" at Breakspoll 2006.

MAICĂ-TA (Astronaut Kru, Black Rhino)
Maică-ta is one of the fresh-sounding ladies behind the decks. Spinning music since 2017, and an Astronaut Kru member, her tunes span a broad spectrum, including hip-hop, dub, dnb, breaks, garage, jungle, electro, and funk.
Timisoara-based Ioana recently debuted her solo show BAMF on Black Rhino Radio, coming once every for weeks.
