Warrior.wav (Oscar Pintado Larson) is a spanish-american producer, multi-instrumentalist and militantdubhead since early 2016. Living in Cuenca, Spain, Oscar joins up with his colleague Carlos Sanabria (King Xana) to start a dub sound system using salvaged and repurposed gear (years later, Roots Bazooka sound system) with the intention of promoting roots & culture music in their area. During this time, warrior.wav begins delving deeper into the studio and creating original pieces to be shared through the soundsystem, eventually leading to the founding of
Xucar Warrior Records in the summer of 2018.
The following year they present XWR001, their first single on 7" poly-vinyl, a tune called "Dynamite" featuring the talented sax player Pedrito International. Since then, XWR havereleased 6 singles and many more digital works, frequently collaborating with singer Manshaman, and Pedrito INTL. on sax.
In this time, Warrior.wav is located in Barcelona where he works independently on his craft and music.
