Robyn Chaos has remained one of the most recognizable names in dark Drum and Bass, firmly establishing herself over the last two decades as one of the main forces in the darkcore, leftfield Drum and Bass scene. Not only a skilled DJ, but also a Vocalist, Songwriter, Producer, Promoter, Agent, Brand Owner and all around general Badass, She has fully embraced DnB with a pure passion for over 20 years.
As creator and owner of Therapy Sessions Worldwide, Chaos personally oversees each and every event; working alongside local promotion teams/family on everything from line ups to flyer design. From its humble beginnings as an East End London midweek in 2003 (with sets from Andy C, Evol Intent, Bailey, Loxy, Ink, Keaton, Corrupt Souls and more!), Therapy rose to quickly become a major Dnb tour de force, slaying dance floors, promoting mosh pit madness, winning national awards and infiltrating dozens of cities across the Globe including Porto, Lisbon, Utrecht, Aarau, Budapest, Berlin, Sao Paulo, Kiev, Perth, Osaka, Paris, St Petersburg, Budweis, Granada and more, with most Therapy “Families” working collaborting for over a decade.
As Founder and Director of the dark enthusiasts DJ Agency, Anger Management (managing Audio, Killbox, Katharsys, Counterstrike, Limewax, Donny, and more) she has been instrumental in nurturing the long term, successful careers of almost every major darkside Titan in the DnB World. Musically, Chaos released as part of the infamous Faith in Chaos outfit (alongside ex partner in grime, Dylan) bringing the scene one of its most revolutionary, punk inspired vocal tracks, “Possession”, famously remixed by Konflict. Following that was Metalheadz anthem (and still a favourite of Mr Goldicus) “Salvation”, “Rapture” alongside Audio & Dylan, “Revolution”(Zardonic, Gein and Counterstrike), “Thunderstatement”(The Panacea and Counterstrike), “Perfect World” (Switch Technique), “No Longer Human” with Technical Itch, and a slew of tracks with fave co-collaborator Fortitude (Broken Wounds & Open Skin, Broadmoor Blues, 140 Conspiracy).
Chaos started up Therapy Sessions Recordings in 2015 to bridge the void that left from the departure of Freak/Obscene. Her passion was supporting the experimental & darker side of DNB with both renown artists such as Counterstrike, The Sect, Audio, and Switch Techniques, well as give a platform to exciting newbluds (at the time) such as Konstructor, Fortitude, Hostage, Blockdata, Dyslexia and more! Also working on alternative projects, such as the southern-tinged, electro-blues, sleaze concept series “A Town Called Hell”, Robyn Chaos continues to have fun pushing boundaries, kicking expectations in the kidneys, and dancing to the beat of her own heavily distorted drum.
