This edition is dedicated to the Queer Night party that takes place this Friday 19th of April at Control Club. We invited two of the DJs (and family) that will be on the decks that night, YCS and andy andreea, to share with us their memories from the party series and find out what are they up to this Friday. Bucharest based DJ, YCS explores the cultural aspects of music in relation to new club styles, performance, and club politics. Dedicated to Ballroom culture, hot bouncy beats are part of her usual sound alongside various genres such as reggaeton, Jersey club and gqom.
andy andreea was born in 1989 and she is trying to be a writer. She studied Anthropology but now she works in a corporation and that makes her sad. She takes care of three cats. She created memes, essays, short stories, fan fiction and poems. Occasionally she also DJs where she plays music for all kinds of nightlife activity from dancing, to crying on the dance floor, to talking in the bathroom and feeling cute. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
