Originally hailing from the UK and currently based in Rotterdam, Psalm Trees developed his love for records digging deep in the crates for samples. What grew out of that endeavour was a never-ending journey into traveling the world discovering new, old music with a focus on rare, privately pressed grooves. Over the years he has released several instrumental hiphop-albums with well established labels within the beat-scene, making him a well-known name in the genre. His sound has a both a blissful and melancholic feel to it with carefully selected samples ranging from soul, jazz, gospel and Brazilian grooves which you can get a hint of in this guest-mix.
