This episode of Devil’s Jukebok with Obeah and Mark Stewart brings a tribute to the challenging and groundbreaking guitarist Keith Levene.

Founding member of the seminal British bands The Clash and PiL/ Public Image Ltd., Levene was considered a post-punk pioneer.

Mark Stewart of The Pop Group collaborated with Keith on his The Politics Of Envy and Exorcism Of Envy complementary albums on the Letter To Hermione and Stereotype tunes and their dub versions. But the two also featured on the post-punk all-star A Very British Coup alongside Jah Wobble, Richard Dudanski, Andrew Weatherall & Youth of Killing Joke.
