I built this episode of Ears Wide Open around the idea of IDM and my obsession with Plaid, Black Dog Productions and Warp Records.
While digging music I've always chased and hunted the emotion, the feeling. What I love most about IDM are the peculiar melodies and harmonies that generate all sorts of sentiments, whether it is happiness or sadness, melancholy or nostalgia, like the beauty of a memory mixed with the regret it is already past tense and might never happen again.
