Andaka is the DJ Pseudonym of Angelika Daphne Katzinger, born in Linz/Austria.

She began DJing in 2004 under this name, since then she is constantly spinning records in bars,
clubs and festivals like Ars Electronica Nightline (http://www.aec.at/origin/category/blog/) or
Crossing Europe Film Festival (http://www.crossingeurope.at/)
at exhibitions, breakdance battles and Backup DJ for Rappers KraVali(A) and Yasmo aka Miss Lead at
Festa2H HipHop Festival alongside DAS EFX (USA) Lino + Arsenik (Fr) Casey (Fr) in Dakar/Senegal
2015.

As member and A&R of record label Shash Records (https://www.facebook.com/SHASHRECORDS) and regular
DJ at TheFutureSound event series (https://www.facebook.com/thefuturesound.linz), she is playing
alongside artists like Om Unit (Cosmic Bridge/Civil Music), Cid Rim (Affine Rec), FloFilz (Melting
Pot Records), Pomrad (Earnest Endeavours), Jeremy Ellis , Mieux (UpMyAlley), Swede:art (TokyoDawn),
Shigeto (Ghostly Intl.), Slow Magic, Airhead (R&S), Sam Irl (Jazz&Milk), Ritornell, Julian
Satorius, Ill Camille and many more.

Andaka is hosting a monthly Radioshow alongside other members of the BACKLAB Collective under the
name of COLLECTIVE RADIO on Radio FRO 105.0 Mhz with a special Focus on new releases from musicians
of her homelabel under the title SHASH RECORDS RADIO.

Beside that she initiated several DJ Workshops together with her longterm DJ colleague Kool Kurt.
Beside diverse mixing techniques participants learned basic scratching and cutting skills with both
vinyl records and digital.

At Linz well-known bar Solaris she was running a bimonthly event series named MIAU (2015 - 2017),
inviting her favourite Djs to play along the whole night through. Guest DJs: JoJa (La Boum de Luxe
FM4 / VIE), Monophobe (Shash Rec.), CN (ThatGoodẄibeCollective / VIE),
Spinelly (Duzz Down San / VIE), Ra-b Groovebuz (Dusty Crates / VIE).
