Morton Subotnick talks about the courage to be human and look into a future that enables people to create. He also presents a short history about the concepts and the challenges of building Buchla 100. 

60s were also a challenge of getting electronic music to be heard and in the living room as described in “The Avant-garde in the family room: American advertising and the domestication of electronic music in the 1960s and 1970s” by Timothy D. Taylor.
What ended up being branded after as the legendary Buchla instrument was a passionate San Francisco enthusiastic experiment with cutting edge technology and beyond that an attempt to enable people to create music easily.
