Sabe (Alexandru Sabău) began his musical journey in Baia Mare, a small city in northern Transylvania, Romania. Surrounded by a wealth of inspiration—from nature to people and the local way of life—he started exploring the electronic sounds of his homeland, building a repertoire of sound akin to the local electronic scene.
Now, with a renewed sense of intrigue and Amsterdam as his home-base, he has been integrating new flavours in his selection, drawing from the rich musical environment of the Dutch Capital. While music remains at the forefront of his life, he’s been constantly seeking for new ways of interacting with sound and creating experiences with it.
As the founder of Sol Systems, a custom sound system project, and Repere, a minimal-house event series, he’s been in a constant refinement of his vision on how music should be experienced: crisp, transparent, and free from interference—leaving room to create a solace for the soul.
