The fifth instalment of our Sound Beacon series in the Creative Quarter brings together the local underground electronic music DJ and vinyl collector Romansoff and Pacific Rhythm head honcho DJ D.DEE.
DJ D.DEE is the founder of Pacific Rhythm, a record label and party series synonymous with the laid-back and uplifting sound Canada's West Coast has become recognized globally for. His style aims to encapsulate the energy of Pacific Rhythm's slogan "Stay Out Late, It Feels Great!" through life-affirming and forward-thinking selections informed by a life of sonic exploration and countless hours spent on the dancefloor.
Tudor Gheorghe, also known by his stage moniker Romansoff, is a Bucharest-based DJ, producer, and vinyl collector with more than 13 years of experience in Romania's capital underground club scene. Heavily influenced by the small local underground parties in the 2000s, Romansoff was motivated to begin collecting vinyl, which soon led to him starting DJing. This, alongside his natural talent and dedication, has helped him become an important member of Bucharest's electronic music scene.
