A new jazz and performance project brings a new spark to the quarantined cultural Romanian landscape. The artists in the Jam Circle come with fresh air in their lungs and invites everyone to feel the groove of their original music.
The project does not benefit only from a spiritual approach, it also points to the beginning of a study process to document and archive the local jazz scene. The project started with six invited groups, other two being discovered along the process: Adi Stoenescu Group, Marta Popovici & On the Fly, Muntet, A-C Leonte & The Bash, The Jam Community & Singer Takeover, ArcuČ™ Quartet, and Ineffable (Miercurea Ciuc), 7th Sense (Bucharest). Find more about the artist here.
The circle will close with a Jam Circle album - an audio compilation that gathers the most interesting tracks of the invited artists. And because visual arts also vibes on music, the studio where the tracks are recorded is painted by IRLO, the well-known nomad street artist. The video is directed by Gabriel Durlan, and all photos are taken by Ioana Teodora Raicu.
