As this week's Album of the Week, Steve Rickinson looks at the long-awaited sophomore LP As Above, So Below from Zambian-born, Botswana-raised poet and rapper Sampa the Great; out now via Loma Vista Recordings.

After an EP, a mixtape and a lot of singles, Sampa the Great is ready to release her debut album. “It’s finished, it’s done and actually there’s new music that is dropping on June 6. Expect something that will be a piece to the puzzle of the full picture which is the album.”
